Terms of Use

1. Who you are contracting with
spiritwisdomacademy.com ("the Academy", "we") is operated by Nikos Kapoutsos, trading as Spirit Wisdom Academy, P.O. Box 76, Naoussa, Paros 84401, Greece. Contact: support@spiritwisdomacademy.com.
Live Zoom courses and private readings with Nikos Kapoutsos are sold separately through nikothemedium.com and are not covered by these terms.
2. What the Academy is — and is not
The Academy offers self-paced online courses, a Learning Library, a community forum, an AI study companion (the "Spirit Wisdom Guide") and related resources on mediumship, trance and spiritual development, taught by Nikos Kapoutsos. The content is educational and experiential. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and is not a substitute for professional care. We make no promise of particular results, abilities or experiences.
Certificates issued by the Academy are Certificates of Completion of self-paced study. They are not professional practitioner certifications, licenses or accreditation.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. Give accurate information and keep your password private. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. We may suspend or close an account used in breach of these terms. When you create an account you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy; we record the date and version you accepted.
4. Free account
A free account gives you the full Learning Library articles, course previews and the community forum. Nothing is charged. A free account does not include any course or the Spirit Wisdom Guide.
5. Products and prices
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). The price shown at checkout is the total amount charged to you; no additional tax is added by the Academy at checkout. The current products are:
- Individual course — one-time payment. You keep access to that course for as long as the Academy operates (§9).
- Monthly membership — USD 49 per month, recurring. Includes three courses — Foundations for Evidential Mediumship, Evidential Mediumship: Building Your Practice and Introduction to Trance States — plus the Spirit Wisdom Guide and member benefits. Other Academy courses are not included; they can be bought individually or accessed with Yearly or Lifetime membership.
- Yearly membership — USD 399 per year, recurring. Includes all current Academy courses (eight at the date of these terms), the Spirit Wisdom Guide, member benefits and one complimentary coaching session per membership year.
- Lifetime membership — USD 997, one payment. Includes all current Academy courses and the courses we add in future, the Spirit Wisdom Guide, member benefits and three complimentary coaching sessions, for as long as the Academy operates (§9).
Course access that comes with a membership lasts for as long as that membership is active. The exact contents of each plan are shown on the Membership page when you buy. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
6. Introductory offer (Monthly)
New Monthly members pay USD 24.50 for the first month (50% off). From the second month the regular USD 49 per month applies until you cancel. One introductory month per customer; not available to anyone who has previously held a paid Monthly membership; does not apply to Yearly or Lifetime membership.
7. Recurring billing and cancellation (Monthly and Yearly)
When you start a Monthly or Yearly membership you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
How to cancel. Monthly and Yearly members can stop future renewals at any time from the Membership section of their dashboard after signing in (Cancel Future Renewals), or by emailing support@spiritwisdomacademy.com from the address on their account. The renewal is stopped in Stripe and confirmed by email. Stopping renewal is not a refund request: no refund is issued for the current period and your access continues to the paid-through date. The separate Request Refund and End Membership option for new Yearly and Lifetime purchases is described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy §3. If a renewal is charged after we have received your cancellation request, we refund that renewal charge.
What happens next. No further charges are taken. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that date, the courses provided by the membership are paused and the Spirit Wisdom Guide and member benefits end. Your lesson progress, quiz results, completion history and any certificates you have earned are kept, so if you rejoin you continue where you left off. Courses you bought individually are unaffected.
Reminders and failed payments. We aim to email you about seven days before each renewal. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and we keep your access for a short grace period (currently three days after the paid period). If payment still does not succeed, the membership ends and access pauses as described above.
8. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Your statutory rights and our refund rules are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. "Lifetime" and "for as long as the Academy operates"
"Lifetime" means the operating life of Spirit Wisdom Academy, not your lifetime, and is not a guarantee that the Academy or its platform will exist forever. If we ever close the Academy or permanently withdraw a course you own, we will tell you by email in advance with reasonable notice. Your statutory rights regarding digital content you have paid for are not affected.
10. Intellectual property and permitted use
All courses, videos, texts, images, PDFs, quizzes and the Academy name and branding belong to Nikos Kapoutsos or his licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to study the material. You may not copy, download (other than resources we mark as downloadable), record, share, resell, publicly perform or redistribute the material, use it to train AI systems, or use it to teach your own courses. Certificates may be shared through the Academy's sharing link and must not be altered.
11. Community and conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, spam, unlawful content and sharing other members' personal information are not allowed. You keep ownership of what you post and grant us a license to display it within the Academy. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. The forum is open to all signed-in members, free or paid. If your account is deleted, your posts and reviews are anonymized or, if you ask, removed (Privacy Policy §7).
12. Spirit Wisdom Guide
Answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Use your own judgment. The Guide is a study aid, not personal guidance from Nikos and not professional advice.
13. Availability and changes to the service
We may update, add or retire content and features. We aim to keep the Academy available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access (for example during maintenance or outages at our video hosts or payment provider). If a change materially reduces what your active membership includes, we will tell you by email in advance; you may then cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
14. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses related to any business, trade or profession, or for events outside our reasonable control.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law together with applicable EU consumer law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@spiritwisdomacademy.com. EU consumers may also use the out-of-court consumer dispute-resolution bodies available in their country; in Greece the independent body is the Hellenic Consumer's Ombudsman (Synigoros tou Katanaloti, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
16. Changes to these terms
We will publish revised terms on this page with a new date and, where a change is material to an active membership, notify members by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms, without prejudice to your right to cancel under §7 and §13.
